Perfect Playday

This past Saturday was another wonderful day at the track with a large contigent of riders taking advantage of the awesome weather (finally) to turn some laps on the famed short track in Paris. The final Friday night points event has come and gone. With the Paris Fair this weekend, the races will be held on Saturday afternoon in front of what will undoubtedly be the biggest crowd of the season.

Fri. Aug.10th Cancelled

Friday Aug.10th Race is CANCELLED due to weather. We’ve been holding out to see how thing’s will shape up. Unfortunately the track is at it’s peak amount of moisture and any more rain will water log it. On the radar, it looks like about another 2 hours of rain. So keeping everyone that travels in mind we are cancelling it. I hope to see everyone out next Friday. We only have 3 left, so make sure you’re there!

Track Perfection

After a not so promising start to the evening Friday, action got underway on what was most likely the nicest racing surface of the year. A twenty-five minute rain combined with dedicated track prep by Joe Hesmer combined to give the riders a beautiful track to race on.

Baja Mania Hits Paris

This past Friday saw a baja invasion as eight riders took the green light in the mens class. With the return of some of our original baja riders from Welland, the action was intense all night long. Bob Howard managed to take the victory in one heat as Jason Hunter was beaten for the first time this year. Friday the 13th provided plenty of action for the fans at Paris Speedway. As well as some great racing, the races provided some nasty spills as well. Hot Summer Night

On what had to be the hottest night of the year so far, Paris Speedway once again provided some hot action for the lucky fans on hand. Despite the skyrocketing temperatures, rider turnout was great as almost every class had it’s highest turnout of the season.

Friday Night Fireworks

Another night of beautiful weather welcomed fans and racers to Paris Speedway on Friday night. Bad Break For Barath

Austin Barath showed up to Paris Speedway Friday night a little worse for wear. After taking a tumble the previous Saturday in Welland, Barath was diagnosed during the week with a couple of broken bones in his left leg. Despite the injury, Barath came to Paris to show off his KTM orange cast and to cheer lightning fast teamate Hunter Bauer on to victory.
