Last Friday For Awhile

This past weekend saw the end of regular season racing for the 2013 season at Paris Speedway. The action this week will now shift to our season finale which will take place Saturday afternoon during the Paris Fair and will be held under the Flat track Canada banner. The racing action was awesome in every class last week but a special shout out goes to Doug Lawrence who was making a rare appearance in Paris and also to Jimmy Mccullough who picked up his first victory in the 65 class.
With the regular season over, points have been decided and the champions are as follows:
50 Shaft-Jordan Molnar
50 Chain-Boyd Deadman
65-Hunter Bauer
Flat Track Youth-Jack Gabor
ATV Youth-Braden Kelloway
Intermediate/Expert-Matty Ward
Novice-Jason Hunter
ATV Sport-Brett Noble
Speedway-Terry Rideout
Baja-Jason Hunter
Baja Women-Kristen Howard
Also have to give a special pat on the back to three riders who managed to go unbeaten in their respective classes for the entire season on their way to a championship. Jordan Molnar, Boyd Deadman and Jason Hunter (baja class), were able to stay at the front of the pack all year which on some nights was not an easy thing to do.
Congrats to all of our champions and we look forward to seeing all the riders at our year end banquet.
At the moment the weather forecast for Saturday is looking a bit bleak. Hopefully everyone will cross their fingers so we can enjoy another great action packed day at the track.

See Ya Saturday
