Baja Mania Hits Paris

This past Friday saw a baja invasion as eight riders took the green light in the mens class. With the return of some of our original baja riders from Welland, the action was intense all night long. Bob Howard managed to take the victory in one heat as Jason Hunter was beaten for the first time this year. In the final however, with $30 donated prize money on the line for the top three, Hunter got his revenge and crossed ...

Friday the 13th provided plenty of action for the fans at Paris Speedway. As well as some great racing, the races provided some nasty spills as well. The ATV final provided plenty of action as usual as with eight quads out there fighting for space in the corner there is bound to be some contact between them. For the second time in the last few weeks Amanda Van Ginkel took a nasty tumble in turn three with her quad going ...

Paris Speedway once again had an action packed night last Friday that sent the fans home smiling. With the 450′s lacking a few bikes due to other commitments, a few riders were asked to step it up a class to even out the divisions. Braden Vallee stepped up from novice into the expert ranks for the night and seemed to step it up a notch each race. Despite his comment that he was “learning what their backs looked like”, Vallee ...

Paris Speedway Draws Even With Mother Nature

Posted by:

A week after being rained out, Paris Speedway and it’s riders showed Mother Nature that they refuse to be pushovers. Despite a couple of quick downpours, the races were completed on Friday before the 11:00 curfew kicked in. Thanks to the folks who put on the races that held their positions even though they were soaked by the end of the night. The races could not have been completed without the dedication of Mike Zelaska, Joe Hesmer, Karly Zelaska, Dave ...

Unfortunately the weather is bad and we have to cancel tonight’s racing. It doesn’t look like any chance to recover the track where in most cases we can hold moisture at Paris. We are aware of people’s time and we don’t want to waste it. Thanks again for your interest and we hope to see everyone again next Friday!
